Few&Far in Sacramento

6 Oct

We painted an animal rights mural in Sacramento Ca over the weekend of september 28th-30th.

Like many times while painting in public, some strange yet comical things can happen … This scooter gang shows up with a launch ramp, a big metal ring that the scooter guys set on fire at the end of the alley. To top it off with out warning the scooter gang gets naked and start’s jumping their freaking scooters through the Ring “O” Fire!!

It’s never a dull moment with Few&Far.

Artist that painted:
Erin yoshi, Ursula Young, Jenn Ponci, Meme, Ksra, Hops, Reds, Agana, Dime, Merlot, R-Peezy, Megen Devine and Baybay-FNF Khonda TMD.

Cypress Alley In San Francisco

29 Jul

We had the best time ever painting this alley in the Mission District. The neighbors were so thankful gave us food, drinks and smiles. The wind and cold weather was a bit harsh but having positive people showing their love for what we do, made the it so worth while!

Oh and this guy in the hot rod was burning rubber for us!

Photo love : Merlot and Agana!

Summer days in New York with Toofly

15 Jul

TOOFLY from JAY MALDONADO on Vimeo.

TOOFLY is an artist, designer and social entrepreneur. Born in Ecuador and raised in New York City her work fluidly blends her native roots with the inner city sensibilities of the quintessential “around the way girl.” TOOFLY gained popularity as a teen in the early 90′s as one of the few graffiti women to rise up and paint in a male dominated scene. Through the Younity initiative, a not-for-profit arts collective she co-founded in 2007, TOOFLY has empowered young women to become independent artists and work within their communities. Staying true to her roots TOOFLY continues to draw feelings from the ever-changing world around her. Her work can be found on New York City streets, and within the confines of various art and cultural institutions. TOOFLY’s work has been published in GRAFFITI WOMEN, GRAFFITI NEW YORK, and GRAFFITI THE NEXT LEVEL.

Sony Corporation illegally defaced Few&Far mural

3 Jul

“A few weeks back I got the news that someone painted over the recent all female, Few & Far production on Gower Street in Hollywood. This was a real surprise to me especially since I have been organizing the painting of those walls for so many years.” Rime-
