Mad C “Over the Edge” Art Show coming to SF

29 Nov

“OVER THE EDGE”
OPENING RECEPTION: December 7th, 2012, 6:30 – 9:30pm
ON VIEW THROUGH: January 5th, 2012

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- 1AM is pleased to present, “Over The Edge”, a solo exhibition featuring new works from German artist, MadC aka Claudia Walde. Arguably the top aerosol artist in the world, she is renowned for her talent, tenacity, and ambition. Opening December 7th, 6:30-9:30pm, “Over The Edge” will showcase a collection of mixed media paintings on canvas and paper that will highlight her 1AM gallery space inspired installation.

MadC’s work is inspired by graffiti and the perfect connection of letters, foreground, and background. With the constant evolution and argument of graffiti as an art form, the show aims to keep the energy of this art form alive on canvas without taking it directly from the street. While using spray paint, acrylic paint, watercolors and ink, she hopes to push the boundaries of what graffiti is conceived as and inspire future generations to take new approaches to the art form.

Support the Graffiti Style Jewelry Line by Vanessa “Agana” Espinoza, a youth Educator in Graffiti aerosol arts, also known as DJ Agana.

Graffiti + Jewelry = AGANA

I aim to provide an abundance of individual style while sustaining jewelry at an affordable cost. Take a look at my CURRENT JEWELRY for a visual example of the new line to come.

The fabulous rewards I have are at a cost that is lower that usual so take advantage of the deals! I really need at least $5,000 to be able to complete the birth of the project and to get it off the ground. I am hoping that the project will be over-funded to meet my actual funding goal. Please feel free to be generous, all the funds will go towards making my jewelry more affordable for you!

Designing like crazy, I have millions of designs just waiting to share with you and the world. With your help, I will be able to expand from focusing solely on precious metals and be able to release a new line with more extensive affordable material options. You will no longer have to wait; I will finally reach a wider audience and the admirers that have requested and desired my jewelry for so long. Thanks to you, a window will open for my followers to be able to afford and claim your very own custom AGANA piece!

Few&Far in Sacramento

6 Oct

We painted an animal rights mural in Sacramento Ca over the weekend of september 28th-30th.

Like many times while painting in public, some strange yet comical things can happen … This scooter gang shows up with a launch ramp, a big metal ring that the scooter guys set on fire at the end of the alley. To top it off with out warning the scooter gang gets naked and start’s jumping their freaking scooters through the Ring “O” Fire!!

It’s never a dull moment with Few&Far.

Spotlight: Rudy Fig

14 Sep

We are huge fans of RUDY FIG!! Every piece of her art is extremely addictive to look at. We know you’ll agree.

Rudy Fig is a 23 year old, US based, self taught oil painter and Toy enthusiast. With toy designers for parents, Rudy grew up in a very creative environment and excelled in the arts from a young age. After flunking out of art school (with flying colors) she taught herself how to paint and quickly began showing her work at age 17 in her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her lush oil paintings and custom toy work feature a cosmic world of candy coated vixens, magical garden tea parties, and psychological purging. Her signature pallet boasts saturated pastels and a beaming world of organized color chaos.
